Good Morning families,
Here we go! The Austin staff is so excited to be gearing up for our students who are electing to be a part of the Face to Face (F2F) option of learning. For those families, please be prepared to receive a lot of information via Homeroom teachers.
Big dates to know:
February 26 - Please make sure you have sent your verifications to your HR teacher.
March 3-Open House for Pre K-1st grade students- this is for only those families who will be sending their students back to school starting the week of March 9th. The purpose is to support students with locating their classrooms, and to confirm modes of transportation. Please only have one parent and student come. Here are the times:
- Pre-K & K from 10 am - 11 am
- 1st grade from 12pm - 1 pm
March 3 - Principal’s Coffee #2 at 2:00 pm (Link will be sent Tuesday, March 2)

March 3 - Student Cohort information will be sent via HR teacher. If you find siblings are not in the same cohort, or that there is a hardship issue, please let us know.
March 9 - Pre-K- 2nd grade Cohort A starts
March 10 - Independent learning day at home
March 11 - Pre-K-2 nd grade Cohort B starts
March 12 - All virtual; early release day at 11:15
Things to consider:
Dismissal: Walking families- you will see marks in the front of the school that will allow you to wait while being 6 feet apart. All walkers will be picked up out front.
Uniforms: Please check the handbook for information on school uniform.
Entry to Face 2 Face: If at any point, a family feels they need to make the change from F2F back to virtual learning they can through communication with the homeroom teacher.
If a family wants to switch from virtual to F2F, there will be another entry point that starts April 29. Teachers will reach out prior to remind and check for adjustments.
