In-School Volunteer Information
Lunch Bunch, Media Center, and Lost & Found Volunteers begin next week after Labor Day!
Please note, we have a new check-in process at the front desk this year. You will need to bring your ID and scan it at the computer, then have your photo taken to be entered into the security system. Plan to arrive a few minutes early for your volunteer shift to check in and go over the requirements mandated by our district for in-school volunteers. You will also need to sign an acknowledgment form. The acknowledgment signature only needs to be completed once each school year.
In addition to the PowerPoint, we ask for every volunteer to read our photography policy:
Photography of and within the Austin Elementary school grounds is expressly prohibited. All volunteers, parents, and visitors (“Visitor”) are required to strictly comply with this requirement unless prior written approval is obtained from the Austin Elementary Administration. Any Visitor who is found to violate this policy will be asked to delete any photographs and will be asked to leave the school premises.
Please also note that parents and visitors may not bring outside food into the school for students, including for Lunch Bunch.
