In-School Volunteer Information
Lunch Bunch, Media Center, and Lost & Found Volunteers have begun!
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early for your volunteer shift to go over the requirements mandated by our district for in-school volunteers.
When you arrive at Austin, you will see our Volunteer Check-In Station in the lobby where there is a printed Powerpoint each volunteer is required to read through. Once this is completed, you will sign an acknowledgment form. This year the form will be a paper copy and no longer connected to a QR code as in the video. The acknowledgment signature will only need to be completed your first time volunteering.
In addition to the PowerPoint, we ask for every volunteer to read our photography policy:
Photography of and within the Austin Elementary school grounds is expressly prohibited. All volunteers, parents, and visitors (“Visitor”) are required to strictly comply with this requirement unless prior written approval is obtained from the Austin Elementary Administration. Any Visitor who is found to violate this policy will be asked to delete any photographs and will be asked to leave the school premises.
