The mission of Austin Elementary School, in partnership with staff, parents, and community, is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where challenging and creative teaching occurs utilizing state-of-the-art resources. Individual learning needs will be met and students will develop into confident, productive members of society.

Rising Pre-K Families

The Pre-K Lottery for the 2025-2026 school year will take place online. At this time a date has not been determined for the 2025—2026 Pre-K lottery.

Birthdays between September 2, 2020- September 1, 2021, are eligible for the 2025—2026 Pre-K lottery. Birthdays between September 2, 2021— September 1, 2022, are eligible for the PK—3 lottery.

The Pre-K Lottery for the 2024-2025 school year has taken place.

All families interested in joining Pre-K must fill out the waitlist application.

Along with the application, parents must submit proof of residency (lease and/or most recent utility bill), child's birth certificate, and parent ID to the following email: austinesregistrar@dekalbschoolsga.org
