The mission of Austin Elementary School, in partnership with staff, parents, and community, is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where challenging and creative teaching occurs utilizing state-of-the-art resources. Individual learning needs will be met and students will develop into confident, productive members of society.

Rising Pre-K Families

The Pre-K Lottery for the 2024-2025 school year will take place online. The application

will be available 8:00 am on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 and will close at 11:59 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Seats are filled randomly through an electronic lottery process. The lottery results will be released March 27, 2024 via email to all applicants. Applicants who are awarded a seat, are to upload the remaining documents during the enrollment window of March 28, 2024- April 25, 2024.

The Pre-K Lottery for the 2023-2024 school year has taken place.

All families interested in joining Pre-K must fill out the waitlist application.

Along with the application, parents must submit proof of residency (lease and/or most recent utility bill), child's birth certificate, and parent ID to the following email: austinesregistrar@dekalbschoolsga.org
